THE CONJURING
How did it suddenly become 2015 already, and why is GOOGLE wanting me to write in Islam?
2014 nearly left me NO TIME for ART, so I have recently been catching up with myself.
This image is cropped from a forgotten acrylic from 2012 which I just re-discovered.
I shall include it with my "disney-esque" offerings...quite a bit of animation here (in fact,
I Do see the Conjurer lower right, back arched, arms waving in the air as if to fan flames,
or bring forth some greater prescence).
Now, I am looking forward to posting other recent images for your consideration.

Spring Awakening
Easter and Passover seem to be a good reason to re-connect.
This image, also a crop from my Original acrylic, is quite different
from all previous work and is the first image to be digitally altered.
~
Only the color and hues have been altered from the original painting.
In tribute to the sculptor, Giacometti, I look to minimalism to see which hues reveal the most information;and here I see success in the
revelation of the amythyst-robed figure floating effortlessly
above the Early Spring garden barely noting two lovers embrace
in the lower right corner.

Remembering Paris
C'est La vie en rose...
It appears to be the most impressionistic, in flavor,
of all my details to date. What Do You See?
My focus and impression is on the sunlit cheek of a once elegant white-haired
woman in purple feathered chapeau, head slightly bent,

woman in purple feathered chapeau, head slightly bent,
reflecting on images surrounding her life and times in Paris
years gone by.
years gone by.
I also see a piece of added amusement:
the painter in white smock at center bottom,
the painter in white smock at center bottom,
fully bearded, facing right (I chuckled).

Childhood Dreams
Thank Goodness for 2011 and all the new energies..... This image is for Marisa who celebrated her 15th birthday in October; which gave me the idea to channel an acrylic for someone other than me! The original is far from colorful, but once it's digitally documented and studied, I find all sorts of imagery appear on my monitor.
Thanks, Marisa, I really enjoy this image!
